Experience Lambeau Field flickering lights right in your own home

The Packers a 7-1, in the thick of a first round playoff bye and today is the NFL trade deadline. The team at Packerstalk.com and Cheesehead TV have you covered on possible trade targets for General Manager Brian Gutekunst and his staff. I wanted to take a moment and write about something a little different that may bring your at home game day experience to the next level.

The teams next home game against the Carolina Panthers has been flexed to a 3:25 p.m. central time start. Which means, when the Packers score, the Lambeau Field lights will be flickering. It is a cool effect that the Packers have added for when the team scores a touchdown. This is something new that the Packers implemented this season to bring more to the celebration.

While at home you can see the lights flickering during a primetime game at Lambeau. But did you know that you can have your own Green Bay Packer lights flickering in your home when the Packers score a touchdown or whenever you would like?

It’s true and pretty simple to do actually. You will need an Amazon Alexa device. You will also need a Smart LED WiFi light bulb. The Nexlux Smart LED bulb can change colors according to music. It even has flashing effects to meet your needs for the atmosphere of your choosing. The light build costs $10.50 on Amazon.

Once you have purchased the WiFi light bulb, you will want to pair it with your Amazon Alexa and set-up your voice commands. When you set it up you are going to want to make sure that music is set up with the light bulbs. I suggest the “Go Pack Go” song. The bulbs are also going to have to be set-up to the colors green and yellow.

When that is all complete, tell Amazon to play the “Go Pack Go” song. When Alexa plays “Go Pack Go” the lights should then flicker green and yellow. This isn’t a step-by-step guide but an overall concept of how it works.

Now, you will have your own Lambeau Field touchdown experience right in your living room any day you want to celebrate the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack Go!
