The Packers are expected to receive a few compensatory picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. The ProFootballNetwork mock draft simulator has finally updated to reflect those picks, so it will provide a more accurate look at how the Packers Draft will go.

This Packers mock draft does not reflect what I think the Packers will do but it does reflect an aggressive approach to trying to win a Super Bowl next year, while providing depth to positions in the future.

I traded the 29th overall pick and the 7th/6th round picks to acquire a total of three third-round picks and three fourth-round picks.

Round 2, Pick 62: OT Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame

Liam Eichenberg adds youth to an aging line. The offensive line was the core of the resurgent offense in 2020, but it is important to keep it that way. Eichenberg would probably immediately slide into the emergency linemen role for the Packers in 2021. He is capable of developing into an All-Pro worthy tackle in the future.

Round 3, Pick 78: RB Demetric Felton, UCLA

Demetric Felton is another versatile, dynamic weapon for Aaron Rodgers. His one-on-one abilities at the Senior Bowl drew major buzz and made him a hot commodity. It may be a reach but, Felton’s talent would be an excellent compliment to AJ Dillon for the next couple years.

Round 3, Pick 90: CB Greg Newsome, Northwestern

Greg Newsome used his size and athleticism to dominate Big Ten wideouts. He size projects him to be a sturdy outside-the-numbers corner in the NFL, but the only concern is his experience against NFL caliber receivers. Newsome is a smart, aggressive player and would benefit greatly playing in a secondary with Jaire, Admos and Savage.

Round 3, Pick 92: OC Quinn Meinerz, Wisconsin-Whitewater

Quinn Meinerz just screams Packer. Meinerz athletic ability makes him a versatile option for Green Bay’s line in the future, but could also provide immediate depth. Only knock on him is the the lack of competition, the transition from D3 to the NFL can be a rude awakening.

Round 4, Pick 119: EDGE Quincy Roche, Miami

I don’t know if Quincy Roche will be a star in the NFL, but I think he will be a very productive/efficient pass rusher. The middle rounds provide plenty of opportunities for these types of guys. Roche would be a solid piece to pair with Rashan Gary, Za’darius Smith — and hopefully JJ Watt.

Round 4, Pick 135: CB Kary Vincent Jr., LSU

This may be a reach because of Kary Vincent’s lack of versatility, but the Packers need Vincent in their secondary. He dominated out of the slot in the SEC for three years — which is practically NFL training camp.

Round 4, Pick 142: WR Frank Darby, Arizona State
Round 5, Pick 174: WR Josh Imatorbhebhe, Illinois
Round 5, Pick 178: WR Trevon Grimes, Florida

Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown’s contracts are up after next season, so the Packers need to look to add some depth for the future. Frank Darby is a speedster, yards-after-catch player that could also have some kick-return abilities. Josh imatorbhebhe is a big-bodied red-zone threat. Trevon Grimes is 6’3 and can do it all. This trio will have a chance to earn Aaron Rodgers trust, and we know special things happen when you Rodgers’ trusts his pass catchers.

The biggest immediate need for the Packers is CB, and I think we addressed that issue in this draft. While also adding depth to important positions for the future.
