The NFL 2020 season is well and truly underway and with it comes a new wave of talent and a whole new roster of injuries as you would come to expect from the sport, including the wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers. But how will this impact their overall performance this season? In this article, we will be providing you with information into his injury as well as how this has impacted the overall performance of the team.

Amazing Result For The NFC 2019 Season

As one of the founding teams in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers have seen their pick of the bunch when it comes to amazing match-ups and star players. With several NFL legends all taking to the field in the Packers uniform, this team has become one of the most popular teams in the league. With a long history in the sport comes a long history of wins for the team which includes the 2019 NFC North win, finishing the top of the division that year which comes as no surprise to the fans.

Major Signings To The Squad For The Green Bay Packers

Along with the NFC north win last season, the Green Bay Packers also welcomed several new signings to the practice squad throughout the month of September and November. Though these players are yet to be placed on the main roster, it is this new wave of talent that will aid in strengthening the team in the future. With signings such as Krys Barnes, John Lovett and Malik Turner, the future of the Green Bay Packers is looking stronger than ever before.

The Beginning Of The 2020 Season

At the beginning of the 2020 season, it was the perfect start for the Packers. With amazing matchups to start the league with a win, it was looking overly positive for the team to maintain their place at the front of the pack. That was until the Week 2 game vs the Detroit Lions with a hamstring injury for Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Davante Adams.

With him out of the league until he was fit enough to play, there were many pundits as well as fans wondering how this could affect their performance this early on in a new season. However, this is not something that they have had to worry about, with backups on hand to step in and several other wins in the season thus far, they are still one of the bookies’ favorite teams at this time. However, with the loss of a star player such as this, there are many asking how this affects betting markets for the specific player as well as the performance of the team as a whole moving forward. Without being able to perform at his best, this could have a huge impact on his overall gameplay. As a result, this could harm his betting odds as an individual player as well as within fantasy league teams.

A Hamstring Injury For Davante Adams

Following his Hamstring injury, Dante Adams has been taking time to recover to be in the best possible shape when he returns. With him returning to training on Monday the 12th of October, many including Dante himself are suggesting that he is 100% fit for the upcoming week six match against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It is important to note however that the Packers did not have to provide an injury report until after team training that took place on Wednesday. An injury report by the team found that Adams would have been fit to return in week four of the season, however, the team decided to hold off until after the week 5 BYE week to ensure that he is fit enough to re-join the active roster for the Week 6 game this weekend. With his record number of catches still yet to be outdone this season, we are expecting great things from him upon his return this weekend.

Whether you have been watching the NFL so far this season or you are just joining in at week 6, the remainder of the 2020 season is set to be huge for not only the Green Bay Packers but also several other up and coming teams. Who will you be cheering for this season?
