Analysis (Taylor O’Neill):

Donnerson is only on the NFL radar after posting eye-popping numbers at the Southeast Missouri St. pro day. At 6’2 and 248 lbs, Donnerson ran a 4.44 40, a 40 inch vertical, a 7.03 time on the 3 cone. Athletically, the guy is kind of a freak.

Obviously, coming out of Southeast Missouri St., Donnerson has not played against NFL-level talent. Consider Donner the ultimate EDGE project. This is a late-round flyer on an athlete who the Packers will hope that they can stash on the roster for a year or two and turn into an NFL talent.

Team Fit (Ross Uglem):

Donnerson joins the competition for the fourth EDGE rusher spot in the defensive rotation and a spot on the roster for special teams.

His value on teams could be incredible, as his size/speed combo is very, very impressive.

NFL Player Comp (Mike Wendlandt) – Koa Misi, Dolphins:

With 4.44 speed at 248 pounds, Donnerson is the your pass rushing lottery ticket in the mold of former Dolphin Koa Misi. At 6’2″, he can use length and that speed to get down the field on special teams while honing his pass rush skills. He’s the ultimate swing for the fences in the 7th round.
