“We hope you enjoy looking back on your memories on Facebook, from the most recent memories to those long ago.”

I do Facebook, thank you.

And while I would’ve preferred to be posting more current playoff game day status updates and photos from Lambeau, reviewing Green Bay Packer playoff memories, for the most part, brings a smile to my face.

I’m not a gambler, but I’ll bet, like me, most of you can remember where you were during particular Green Bay Packer playoff wins (and heartbreaking losses) in January even before Facebook was around to remind us.

Please enjoy some of my Timehops below, and I would love to hear from you your favorite Green Bay Packers playoff memories in the comments.

January 12, 1997 (22 years, four days ago) From the hospital with my family, visiting my grandpa, I watched the Green Bay Packers defeat the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship game at Lambeau. I remember recognizing at that moment how awesome it was and how awesome it must be for people physically there at the game.

January 12, 2008 (11 years, four days ago) Referred to as one of the “snow bowls” this would be Favre’s last win with the Packers. I didn’t have tickets, but a group of us set up a television with rabbit ears in the parking lot. I remember how I felt when the Packers were down by 14 points in the first 5 minutes.

January 20, 2008 (10 years, 11 months, 27 days ago) The NFC Championship back in Green Bay I was 99% sure of a victory and I know I wasn’t the only one (a). With a group of friends committed to going it ultimately ended up being my husband and me when the temperature continued to drop throughout the week. We brought $500.00 in cash to scalp two tickets. When ticket prices did not decline, we ran to Buffalo Wild Wings as the jets flew over. I watched Favre, in his last game as a Packer; throw the overtime interception standing by myself in the corner of Buffalo Wild Wings in Green Bay. This game ended up being one of the coldest games in NFL history. Full beers exploded in my husband’s hunting jacket, and I have no photos because the memory card got corrupted due to the elements.

January 23, 2011 (7 years, 11 months, 24 days ago) I got invited to a party but politely declined the invite. I watched the Packers defeat the Bears at Soldier field to earn a trip to Super Bowl XLV, by myself, solo.

January 11, 2015 (4 years, five days ago) I was in Section 108 row 54 at Lambeau when Dez dropped it.

January 18, 2015 (3 years, 11 months, 29 days ago) Intentionally omitted; I may have been the jinx as I was researching a trip to XLIX at halftime.

January 15, 2017 (2 years, one day ago) I remember how clutch I thought Mason Crosby was, drilling two 50+ yarders in the last 90 seconds.

A 13x World Champion vibe always, I’m optimistic about the future of the best franchise in professional sports and will continue to stash a couple of bucks away for those playoff tickets.

I can’t wait for the next regular season to start and am obviously counting the days.
