Citing websites such as yourdictionary.com and urbandictionary.com a palooza is defined as an exaggerated event, a party at one place, with a ton of people, typically held on a Wednesday.

I left out the ‘drunken’ part of the urban definition to partly fit my narrative, but didn’t make up the Wednesday part I swear!

As a suffix, palooza can be added to almost any word…..

Draftapalooza 2019.

You didn’t hear it from me first.

I know, I know, you’ve heard the term, but did you know the party starts tonight at 7 pm for us Green Bay Packer fans?

Presented by @booth.life & Nashville Packers Fan Club, Kung Fu Saloon is hosting the Packers Everywhere NFL Draft Kick Off Party.

I wasn’t surprised to read a large group from South Florida is heading to the draft and gathering at this kickoff party to celebrate with other Cheeseheads.

There’ll probably be some drinks.

Cheers Packer fam!

To kickoff the NFL’s 100th season, the 2019 NFL Draft festivities officially begin tomorrow, and it’s all free.

Attendees need to download a ticket via the NFL – Draft Fan Mobile Pass app, and a different ticket for each day is required. (a)

Per NFL.com Selection Square, the epicenter of the NFL Draft will be located in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and will feature 32 “Team Tables.” Fans can enter Selection Square also for free and see the team tables from select public viewing areas. I understand this will be a unique opportunity to see the selective live before it’s announced on the Draft Main Stage which is located on 1st and Broadway in downtown Nashville. (c)

Be like our friends from South Florida, get to Selection Square early on day one and then to the Draft Main Stage early on day two for the projected #44 and #75 picks overall currently planned to be announced by James Lofton and Aaron Kampman.

Did you know when given the privilege to announce the Packers’ second-round pick in 2014 the pick turned into Davante Adams? (b)

Draftapalooza 2019. The hype is real.

For those visiting the Music City, I found the Event Info tab on www.nfl.com extremely helpful, listing the draft music and activities scheduled in addition to an NFL Draft fan event map.

A 13x World Champion vibe always, for those staying closer to home and located in the Midwest consider visiting Will’s Northwoods Inn April 27th for Packerpalooza which is always the Saturday of the NFL Draft.

Admission for Packerpalooza is $60.00 and includes an autograph session with Davante Adams, Geronimo Allison and Equanimeous St. Brown at no additional cost to have items signed.

Professional photographers will be on site as a courtesy for Packer fans; there’s a brunch menu, a raffle and tickets appear to be available, although this event did sell out last year.

Visit www.willsnorthwoodsinn.com for additional information and to purchase tickets.

Get there early; doors open at 9:30 am.

I’ll bet there’s drinks at this palooza too!
