Rumor on the twitter street was the Green Bay Packers partied a bit too hard Friday and Saturday night, contributing to the loss in week 9 to the Chargers.

I suppose we’ll never know.

I also heard from a friend of a friend that his friend paid approximately $400.00 for one ticket and then another $150.00 for parking at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The $150.00 for parking did not include the ability to tailgate; fans wanting to tailgate this past Sunday, add another $200.00.

Yikes, if true.

I’m thrilled with the 7 – 2 record considering where the team was last year at this time in the season and was proud to see the picture of the stands evidencing an obvious, pronounced majority of Packer fans in attendance.

The Green Bay Packers lead the North, zero losses against division opponents.

Big facts.

Also, facts are the kickoff for this Sunday’s game versus Carolina has been moved to 3:25 pm, and as of November 4th, there was a limited number of tickets available due to the Panthers returning a portion of their allotment.

Sunday’s game will be the Packers’ only home game from October 21 to December 7th, a 48 day period, and I’m looking forward to it. (a)

Accurate to say, we’ll be there early to tailgate, between 8 am and 9 am or so, and are grilling bacon-wrapped duck jalapeno poppers.

I know I’ll see my Marine friend, who may or may not be in his dress blues, taking donations for the military.

I wanted to share gameday information with you regarding plan card stunts, fly over, and national anthem performance, but I can’t seem to find any information, fact, or rumor in that regard.

In my search for Salute to Service planned events I learned that the Green Bay Packers hosted “Huddle For Heroes” yesterday at The Turn located in Titletown for the first time.

Players and military veterans participated in interactive games together, and I have included a link in the footnotes to the photos.

A 13x World Champion vibe always, remember Operation Fan Mail is in its 13th season.

Currently presented by WPS Health Solutions the program, which debuted in 2007, honors fans with family members either on active duty or family members who are veterans at each Green Bay Packers home game with four tickets to the game, recognition on filed prior to the game, and a $150 Packers Pro Shop gift card.

Essays using 500 words or less can be submitted online or via mail to Operation Fan Mail P.O. Box 10628, Green Bay, WI 54307-0628 for consideration. (b)

Thank you veterans!
