Temperature for kickoff this Sunday at MetLife Stadium, where the Green Bay Packers will square off against the New York Giants, is projected to be between 38 – 44 degrees with a 90% chance of snow or rain.

Much cooler than the Packer’s trips to the west coast; I like it.

Snow, please.

Remember, Titletown, west of Lambeau and within walking distance, is open year-round.

Here are a couple of events or links you may want to consider if you are planning a trip to Lambeau Field for the rest of the year.

The ice-skating rink is open daily, and there will be an ice-skating demo this Friday as part of the Winter Jubilee Warm Up.

The Winter Jubilee Warm Up kicks off Titletown’s Winter Jubilee, presented by Performa and Mad City Windows & Baths. (a) The fun festivities include Reindeer Photo Ops, and a Winter Jubilee Light Show projected on Lambeau’s façade that plays every 30 minutes.

The Reindeer Photo Ops reminds me of December 25, 2005, in Green Bay for Packers versus the Bears.

Forgive me if I have mentioned this before, but there was a tailgater who had a live reindeer in the parking lot.

I did get a photo back then and would bet that bottle koozie on the antlers will probably be absent from any Reindeer Photos Ops now……..

I also planned a trip to see the light show last year and will try and catch it again this year. It’s a must-see.

As an alternative to viewing the light show in-person, visit Titletown’s page on facebook. In a post from November 22nd, there is a video of the light show from last year.

Also, a must-do if you can swing it, is the ice bar. It is being promoted this year via Titletown as Drinks on Ice and right now scheduled for Saturdays December 7th and 14th.

Perfect timing. The colder, the better at Lambeau!

As of the date of this article, Ariens Hill is not yet open for sledding, but you can monitor conditions here https://www.titletown.com/events/recreation/tubing

More snow, please!!!

A 13x World Champion vibe always, Packer Family, I am thankful for you!

Looking ahead to the Redskins game, I wanted to share that with the help of a retired Marine; I am coordinating a Toys for Tots tailgate December 8th in the parking lot before kickoff that day.

More to come next week Wednesday, but if you are inspired by Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday, and your love of the Packers and wish to contribute hit me up on twitter @Tailg8Sarah or drop a comment below.
