A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the the Packers Tailgate Tour that was scheduled for May 15 – 17. This week, the Green Bay Packers have made the decision to cancel their annual tailgate tour in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Packers made the decision based on guidance from local officials and the CDC, recommending limiting gathering sizes for all events and practicing social distancing. The team wants to make sure that the non-profits they were supporting can now focus their time and energy on essential operations during this national pandemic.

Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy, did state that the Packers do still plan to support the non-profit organizations that were set to benefit from the Packers Tailgate Tour; Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics Wisconsin, and Stars and Strips Honor Flight. The team will be donating $25,000 to each non-profit to benefit their worthy causes.

If you have already purchased tickets to any one of the tailgate parties, you can click on the event link below for refund information.
