I hope every one had a great fourth of July holiday. Over the weekend I heard the news out of Green Bay about the update they provided to season ticket holders. I even heard from several friends the information that they received from the team regarding the upcoming season.

Those friends were Milwaukee Season Ticket holders. They will be asked by the organization if they would like to opt out of their seats this year, at a later date, and their season ticket holder status would be applied to the 2021 season. Season ticket holders will also be asked if they would like to still opt in for ticket this season.

Now, there is the very real possibility that the Packers would play games without any fans in attendance. If fans are allowed at games, the Packers are taking the steps to inform their season ticket holders of the adjustments that are being made.

The organization is currently preparing as those fans will be allowed to attend games. The fan experience at Lambeau Field will be different than what we are used to. New policies and safety measures will be in place to allow for appropriate social distancing, which will require the stadium’s seating capacity to significantly reduced. The reason season ticket holders are asked to forgo their tickets for this season. Fans attending the game will be required to wear masks / face coverings.

With a reduced capacity at the stadium the organization is eliminating the Green and Gold package designations, as well as suspending the Brown County ticket drawing. If you are a resident that paid for tickets through the Brown County program, you will be refunded the money.

There are still many questions that season ticket holders have and those questions should all be answered soon. The team is currently going through the process and asking for patience from all fans. According to the organization details are not yet finalized on how everything will be handled.

It will be a different season but hopefully football will be played.

Go Pack Go!!
