As we are only 8 days away from NFL Opening Sunday, let’s take a look at some Green Bay Packers Gambling Props in 2021. The increase in legalized sports betting across the U.S. has greatly enhanced it’s popularity, as well as it’s ease of access. This season, the NFL will be promoting several platforms like DraftKings, FanDuel, Bet MGM and many others through out the year. Please note, I am not a professional gambler, these are just my opinions and please bet within reason. With that said, here are some props I like.

1) Packers Season Win Total Over/Under 10.5

The Packers have impressively recorded back-to-back 13 win seasons, going 13-3 in 2019 and 2020. With the addition of a 17th game this year, picking the Packers to win at least 11 games seems like a no-brainer at first glance.

My primary hesitation of selecting Over 10.5 wins isn’t as much of a talent question as much as it is schedule. Sure, losing All-Pro Center Corey Linsley in free agency hurts and offensive line is a question with LT David Bakhtiari out for the first six weeks of the season. However, my focus remains on the Packers schedule when looking at this prop and acknowledging that it’s a difficult one.

Road games against the 49ers (Primetime), Cardinals (Primetime), Chiefs and Ravens appear to be big tests going into the season. Joe Burrow and the Bengals in the Jungle isn’t exactly a layup and of course, the division games are always tough, no matter the records. A weird, Week 1 Neutral-Site game against the Saints in Jacksonville tops off the Packers road schedule.

At home, where Aaron Rodgers and the Packers tend to dominate, Green Bay welcomes a number of tough opponents. Packers home games include matchups against the Steelers, Seahawks, Rams, Browns (Christmas Day) and Washington, as well as the division games.

There’s no denying that the Packers schedule looks pretty tough going into the season. With that said, Green Bay is still projected to be one of the best teams in the NFL, as they returned most of their key players from last season, including Aaron Rodgers.

Pick: Over 10.5 Wins (-130) Confidence Level: 3 out of 5

2) Most Receiving TD’s in the League (+700)

Currently, Davante Adams is the favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook to have the most Receiving Touchdowns in the 2021 NFL Season.

Last year, he led the NFL in Receiving Touchdowns with 18, a pretty astronomical number. In 2017 and 2018, he Tied for 2nd in the league in touchdown catches.

Adams, in the prime of his career and also in a contract year, has a really good shot to lead the league in this category again. With +700 odds, it’s definitely worth a flyer.

3) Robert Tonyan O/U 6 Receiving Touchdowns

The Packers emerging TE, who trains with 49ers TE George Kittle, had 11 touchdowns on 52 receptions in 2020. Going into a contract season, the arrow is pointing up on #85 for the Packers.

Reports in Packers training camp were positive regarding the Rodgers-to-Tonyan connection, suggesting that it looks as strong as ever. With the Packers high-powered offensive attack, in addition to the trust QB1 has in Tonyan, he should clear 6 touchdowns with ease.

Pick: Over 6 Touchdowns (-120) Confidence: 4 out of 5

4) Aaron Rodgers to win NFL MVP (+1000)

He won the MVP award last year, as well as 2011 and 2014. At 10/1 odds, it’s definitely worth a flyer.
