The Green Bay Packers saw 3 of their players selected to the 2021 AP First-Team All Pro Team on Friday. The members of the All-Pro Team are selected by a national panel of 50 media members each year and is one of the most honored recognitions in football. The 3 guys who were chosen were Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, WR Davante Adams and LB De’Vondre Campbell.

Aaron Rodgers

For the second consecutive season, Aaron Rodgers was selected to be a First-Team All Pro. The reigning MVP of the league and current MVP favorite for 2021 has earned this distinction now 4 times in his Hall of Fame career. After one of the most tumultuous off-seasons in NFL history, followed by a terrible opening day in Jacksonville, all Rodgers has done since is throw 37 touchdowns next to 2 interceptions while guiding the Packers to the #1 seed in the NFC for a second straight year.

Rodgers, 38, may be playing the best football of his 17 year career. While many questions linger about his future with the Packers, one thing is crystal clear: He is still one of the best, if not the best Quarterback in the NFL.

Davante Adams

Packers WR Davante Adams was a unanimous selection to the First-Team All Pro Team, along with Steelers LB T.J. Watt, Rams DT Aaron Donald, Rams WR Cooper Kupp and Colts RB Jonathan Taylor. Like Rodgers, 2021 marks the second consecutive season Adams was named a First-Team All Pro.

Adams, 29, finished the season with a career high in receptions (123) and yards (1553). He also registered 11 touchdowns. His 2021 statistics in receptions and yards are both Packers single-season All-Time records. He also holds the Packers record for most receiving touchdowns in a season, when he recorded 18 of them in 2020.

No doubt, the Packers gifted WR is on a Hall of Fame Pace. 2021 was another step in that quest for Davante Adams.

De’Vondre Campbell

The 28 year old, 6 Year NFL Veteran Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell was named a 1st Team All-Pro on Friday. Campbell, who played for the Falcons and Cardinals before signing in free agency with the Packers, is one of the biggest surprise stories of the season, alongside his teammate, CB Rasul Douglas.

On the 2021 season, Campbell played and started in 16 games, where he recorded 146 combined tackles (102 solo), 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 2 sacks and 5 passes defensed. Not only has Campbell been a revelation at inside-backer but he’s also provided stability and leadership to the defense.

Campbell being named to the All-Pro Team is one of the most feel-good, shocking headlines of the season.
