The 2023 Preseason for Jordan Love has come to an end with a 19-15 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

With the win the Packers finish with a 2-1 record and head into the 2023 regular season with more hope than we did when we started the preseason a couple weeks ago.

Coming into the 2023 Preseason we have more questions than answers about Love and the Packers.

But now with the preseason completed we have more answers to those questions.

We’ll take a look at what we learned about Love, look at what he did good and what he needs to work on as we head into the 2023 season opener against the Chicago Bears.

Stats in the 2023 Preseason

In the 2023 Preseason, Love completed 21-of-33 passes for 183 yards, three touchdown passes and zero interceptions.

Along with that Love finished with a passer rating of 109.8 and was not sacked once.

In the eight possessions that Love played, The Packers scored three touchdowns and a field goal meaning that half of his possession ended in a score for the Packers.

The Good

Love’s performance in the 2023 Preseason showed that he does have the capability to be a starting NFL quarterback.

He showed that he can take care of the football, read the field and make good decisions.

Love also showed poise in the pocket and the ability to make plays with his feet when he needs too.

The Bad

Accuracy seems to be the only flaw that needs to be worked on with Love as there are some throws that seem to be out of reach of the receivers or forces the receivers to make a hard adjustment.

Conclusion

Overall, the Packers seem comfortable with Love at Quarterback.

The team clearly has his back as he heads into his first season as a starter for the Packers.

Jordan Love has provided many answers to the questions we had about him coming into the 2023 Preseason, but the only question that remains is how he will perform when it matters.

Only time will tell as the Packers head into the 2023 season.
