Yes, Taylor Swift did show up to Lambeau Field, but at the end of the night it was a different “Love Story” as the Packers kept their momentum going with a win over the Chiefs.

It’s a story that began back in November.

What a difference though a month makes for the Packers.

At the beginning of November, we were talking about a top 10 draft pick.

They 2-5 at that point and thinking that maybe Jordan Love wasn’t the answer.

Fast forward to one month later and they’re 6-6, including impressive wins over the Lions and the defending Super Bowl Champions in consecutive weeks.

Even better, they’re currently the 7th seed if the playoffs were to begin today.

The Offense

The difference is night and day for the offense, who with each week seem to be getting better.

Love has been on fire the last few weeks.

Going back to the Steelers game when he started to “let it rip”, Love has thrown for 10 touchdowns in that time span.

The offensive line has improved a lot since then also.

They’ve given Love time to sit in the pocket and letting his receiver routes develop.

Young Receivers

The young receivers have stepped up and have really come along especially the last couple of weeks.

After weeks of being questioned if he was a number one receiver, Christian Watson proved that he was capable of being one.

Watson has scored touchdowns in each of the last 3 games.

Romeo Doubs has been great not only in the past month but the whole season as well.

But it’s the performance of rookie wide receivers like Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, heck even Malik Heath that have given the Wide Receiver room new life.

Add in rookie Tight Ends Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft and the Packers have a very dangerous passing attack.

The Running Game

With Aaron Jones out with a knee injury, A.J Dillon has stepped up nicley.

Dillion has not only helped with the running game but also setting up defenses for the pass with play action fakes.

Once Jones gets healthy the Packers overall could have a dangerous offense.

It comes at a perfect time as the Packers head into the last few games of the season.

The Defense

Don’t worry I didn’t forget the defense!

The Packers defense overall has been giving up a lot of yardage.

But the key to the Packers defense is stopping the opposing offense when it matters.

Whether that is creating turnovers or stopping offenses in the red zone, the defense have been able to do all that.

Next Man Up

It’s a next man up mentality for the defense as they had to do most of this without their top corner, safety and middle linebacker.

A couple players I’d like to highlight and give props to are Jonathan Owens, Carrington Valentine and Corey Ballentine.

All three have stepped up to play huge roles in the Packers defense and all three have stepped up and done that.

Conclusion

The Packers turnaround the last month has been amazing.

The perfect ending to this story would be a Packers playoff run.

The Packers are currently the 7th seed for the playoffs.

But they must keep this momentum going for the rest of the season in order to have a shot at the playoffs.

Based on how the Packers are playing it looks like this “Love Story” could have a good ending.
