No one gave the 2023 Packers a chance at the beginning of the season.

But here we are entering the playoffs.

With the youngest team and a first year starting Quarterback the Packer are the 7th and final seed in the playoffs.

A Rocky Start

After a rocky 2-5 start, fans started to wonder if Jordan Love was the guy.

They also started to wonder about next season, looking at a top 10 pick in the draft.

But Jordan Love and the Packers said no to that and started to turn their season around.

After the 2-5 start the Packers went on to finish the season 7-3.

A Learning Experience

It has been a learning experience not only for Love but for the rest of the team as well.

Throughout the season the Packers learned from mistakes they’ve made.

Whether it was offense, defense or special teams issues , the Packers found a way to learn from those mistakes.

For the Offense and for Love, it was learning to “Let it rip” and feeding Aaron Jones the ball.

It was also learning to get off to faster starts on offense to help the defense.

For the defense, it was adapting to change and knowing that the offense can put up points.

Yes, the defense might not be the brightest spot for the 2023 Packers but they’ve been doing enough.

What’s next

It’s one thing to make it to the playoff, its another thing to win a playoff game.

It’s a completely new for most of these players to be playing in a playoff game.

As the team prepares to face the Dallas Cowboys, it’s a completely new season.

The Youth factor

For this young Packers team, youth can be good and bad for this team heading into this match-up.

It could play in the Packers favor as the team is a faster on both offense and defense.

But at the same time it could be detrimental as the Packers lack the playoff experience compared to the Cowboys.

But looking back at Packers history, the Packers have been in a similar position like this.

Remember 2007 Packers?

That team lacked playoff experience but they were able to win in the divisional round before losing int he NFC championship.

The only difference here is that team had a few players that had experience.

Players like Brett Favre, Charles Woodson and Ryan Pickett had experience play in these games.

Conclusion

No matter what happens the 2023 Packers has passed so many expectations.

The Dallas Cowboys are the next obstacle in this young Packers teams way.

Only time will tell whether or not this team is playoff ready.

Get ready folks and buckle up, it’s playoff time.
