The premier of Hard Knocks on HBO marks the next step of the offseason. Former Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said at his closing press conference, “A great source of pride of mine is that we were never on Hard Knocks.” Here are the storylines and players that would have been highlighted if the 2025 Green Bay Packers Training Camp was chosen to be featured on the show.

DreamDrive

The Packers have a unique tradition at training camp. Kids line up outside of Lambeau Field with their bikes hoping one of the players will choose to ride their bike to the practice field. This is a beloved tradition in the Green Bay Packers community and would be highlighted by the Hard Knocks crew.

Jordan Love

The quarterback of the featured team is always showcased by the documentary. A highlight montage of throws from the previous season along with throws from practice is a staple. After making the playoffs in his first 2 seasons as a starter, Jordan Love will be looking to take the Packers to the next level and compete for a Super Bowl. Matthew Golden

Golden was the first wide receiver the Packers drafted in the 1st round of the NFL Draft since Javon Walker in 2002. They would show him running the 40 yard dash in 4.29 seconds at the NFL Combine. Bo Melton

Hard Knocks often features players on the roster bubble. Dealing with a crowded wide receiver room, Bo Melton switched positions to cornerback to try and make the roster. This has been the biggest story at training camp so far. Hearing more about his transition to a new position would be very interesting to viewers. A FaceTime or call to his brother Max, who plays cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals, asking for advice would be seen.

Unveiling the New Locker Room

Right before training camp started the Packers unveiled their newly remodeled locker room. A tour of the upgrades and player reactions would be featured.

Josh Jacobs

The documentary follows multiple leaders of the featured team. Josh Jacobs has been the vocal leader of the Packers since he joined the team last season. Viewers would watch him as he mentors young players like Marshawn Lloyd, who has battled injuries in his short time in the NFL. Another highlight package of him running over defenders last year is guaranteed to be included.

Coaches

The show would kick off with a fiery speech from Matt LaFleur in front of the team. Associate Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator Rich Bisaccia would be seen giving a speech filled with cuss words.
