Yes, I am once again all aboard the Packers’ Polar Express to Super Bowl LX.

Packers Super Bowl Polar Express

The Green Bay Packers have once again rewritten the narrative this NFL season, demonstrating resilience and grit in the face of a slew of injuries and adversity to climb back to the top of the NFC North. Which means it’s time now I believe, to give the man his due, as the mantle and throne is now his….

Jordan Love King of the North headed to Super Bowl

Despite injury and set backs, this Packers squad is sitting atop the division, as well as the #2 seed in the NFC. 2025 has been a crazy rollercoaster, but the Toyotathon is on, and so is Jordan and the squad.

Super Bowl Dreams Despite Injury & Adversity

The Packers have lost key contributors from offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins landing on IR with a leg injury, to Tucker Kraft’s season ending ACL tear, and Devonte Wyatt’s season ending ankle injury.

The Packers weekly spreadsheet of doom has been large and consistent once again in 2025. I definitely understand that the Packers tend to over report, however the sheer volume of players rotating in and out is enough to make your head spin.

While there are those who have called LaFleur’s playcalling into question during the season (myself included) there is no denying that his ability to adapt and get this team to where they are despite the lack available talent is pretty amazing.

As of now Josh Jacobs is the only player missing practice time with a knee issue. However, per Bill Huber, he is on the sideline working on the stationary bike.

A Bumpy Mid Season

The Packers have faced skepticism throughout this season amid inconsistent offensive performances and questions about depth at key positions. Analysts pointed to struggles in the passing game and significant injuries among receivers as potential cracks in their Super Bowl aspirations.

Instead of folding, Green Bay has seemingly found a way to step up in big moments. Having a defense that plays lights out has kept them competitive in a league where the margin for error is razor thin. While there are some definite weak spots in the secondary, Jeff Hafley’s squad has set the tone early and often during games this year.

Yes, we all also know who we have to thank for a large portion of this effort.

Packers Path Forward To Super Bowl LX

Looking ahead, the Packers face a challenging closing stretch. Here’s what’s coming down the pike.

  • Week 15 (Dec 14, 2025): at Denver Broncos (Sunday, 3:25 PM CT)
  • Week 16 (Dec 20, 2025): at Chicago Bears (Saturday, 7:20 PM CT)
  • Week 17 (Dec 27, 2025): vs. Baltimore Ravens (Saturday, 7:00 PM CT)
  • Week 18 (Jan 3/4, 2026): at Minnesota Vikings (Time TBD, likely Sat/Sun)

This weeks’ contest in Denver will be telling of the Packers chances down the stretch. The Broncos are coming off a 10 game win streak heater with home field advantage. If the Packers were waiting to make their final statement win, this is it.

Rematch In The Windy City

They are then in prime time in a rematch with the Bears that made a 2nd half come back in Week 14 and will be hungry for redemption. While I’m not sure about a Pro Bowl nod for Keisean Nixon’s secondary play this season, I’ve smiled every one of the ten thousand times I have watched this clip. #DaBearsStillSuck

The Final Stretch

They follow that up with a prime time meeting against a Ravens squad that has had their own brand of bad luck in 2025. However, Lamar Jackson is getting healthier and primed to make a late season run. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself as the fantasy team manager hoping he lights it up for me in the playoffs haha.

The Packers then close out against a Vikings team that is on the ropes and looking to the 2026 draft. However, as we’ve seen in past years, divisional rivals want nothing more than to use that Week 18 game against the Packers as their “Super Bowl”. By Week 18 however, depending on seeding, I would be surprised to see the Packers putting their starters out for the full contest.

Visions of Lombardis Dancing In Our Heads

Consider me all the way back and bought in this holiday season. They may not be the lights out unstoppable force we all thought they were back in Week 3, but the Packers have found themselves with their destiny in their own hands.

In a wild season of upsets and tight games the Packers are capable of winning against any team in the league. The question is, can they stay the course, and find ways to keep stacking wins. The Rams are no joke and the likeliest final boss before entry to the Super Bowl. We’ll see if Matt LaFleur and company can get this young team of destiny across the finish line.
