Several players improved their stock as the Pre-Season nears the end.
Here are some players who improved their chances of making the Packers roster.
Kamal Hadden, CB
What a story Hadden has as he returns from a very gruesome injury last season.
Hadden, played in his first game since the injury in late December of last year.
He made five tackles, including three notable open-field stops and two tackles for loss.
Hadden seems to be a fit to be the slot corner behind Javon Bullard.
Hadden showed his ability to defend the run from the slot.
There were also no obvious lapses in coverage, either.
Hadden’s stock is way up after a terrific week overall.
Pierre Strong Jr., RB
Strong showed his versatility as he showed his ability to contribute not only to the offense but to the special teams as well.
Offensively, Strong turned eight rushes into a team-high 37 rushing yards.
He also had a nice 12-yard run, forcing several missed tackles.
On special teams Strong had a nifty kickoff return gaining 68 yards.
Strong looks like a natural runner, with wiggle, burst and vision.
While the top three running backs all look like roster locks, but Strong has made a compelling enough case for the Packers to keep four at the position.
Mark Perry, S
Perry is making a real run at securing the final spot at Safety.
He created the defense’s highlight play on Friday night with a interception.
Perry read a throw up the seam and picked off Jarrett Stidham late in the first half, helping set up a field goal.
Perry has strung together a pair of solid performances to start the preseason.
Is it enough to win a roster spot?
Anthony Campbell, DL
Campbell is in a deep position battle, but he keeps making standout plays.
The big man produced a sack and several other pressures while playing solid run defense inside against the Broncos.
Campbell is not only a good story but an ascending young player.
Certainly the Packers will have to make some tough decision on that position, but Campbell definitely has a case to make the roster.
