Packers Therapy #256: Packers Raked by Eagle Talons

Packers Therapy Podcast

The first quarter of the Green Bay’s tilt against Philadelphia was so brutal, young children were escorted out of Lambeau Field so as not to scar them for life. But not to worry: It was a meaningless preseason game, so Chris and Dave offer a meaningless podcast to discuss it. The injury to Randall Cobb is picked over, as is the prospect of a receiver corps led by Davante Adams, the play of rookie Brent Hundley, the battle for the third running back, and the boys meditate on why the Packers special teams are anything but.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.

The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

Packers Therapy is a part of the Packers Talk, family of podcasts, serving up enough weekly podcasts to satisfy the most fervent of Packer fans. Follow Packers Talk on TwitterFacebook, and subscribe over at iTunes.

Ol’ Bag of Donuts: Playing in the Dark

Ol Bag of Donuts Packers Podcast

In one of the darkest weeks of recent Green Bay Packers training camps, Ol’ Bag of Donuts take the airwaves to talk about the Jordy Nelson injury. Davante Adams and Jeff Janis may be the two guys everyone is talking about, but Chris and Adam suggest otherwise on which Packer needs to step up his game the most in Nelson’s absence. In brighter news, the guys also go over which players have shone the brightest in training camp and have played their way onto the roster. Lastly, listeners questions are answered through the Twitter Mailbag and the new Titletown development is discussed.

Packers Therapy #255: Jordy Takes A Knee

Packers Therapy Podcast

Yes, the Packers loss of Jordy Nelson in the Pittsburgh preseason game was huge, but Chris and Dave aren’t ready to declare the 2015 season over before it begins. The fellas note that Green Bay still has a lot of offensive talent and, with some adjustments to strategy and philosophy, could still have potent enough offense to go deep in the post season. After all, the ’96 and ’10 Packers sustained key injuries and still managed to bring the Lombardi Trophy home, so perhaps this year will be no different. Their message to Packers fans — it’s too early to give up.
