Packers Therapy #240: Panthers Declawed at Lambeau

Packers Therapy Podcast

OK, so Chris and Dave will never agree about the relative merits of risk-taking and whether Aaron Rodgers takes enough of them. But they do agree that the Packers delivered an epic smackdown at Lambeau Field this past Sunday. The fellas were impressed with the solid play of the defense and are starting to wonder just how good Green Bay is relative to its NFC rivals.

Behind Enemy Lines with Joe Person from the Charlotte Observer

Behind Enemy lines podcast on Packers Talk Radio Network. Amanda Lawson &

Amanda and Chris start the Week 7 edition of the podcast with a discussion of Aaron Rodgers’ calculated risk taking and the running back time share before asking the question of if there is another wide receiver in the league you’d rather have than Jordy Nelson. (Hint: probably not). The pair then welcome in Joe Person from the Charlotte Observer to talk about the Green Bay Packers’ upcoming opponent, the Carolina Panthers. They ask Joe about tying Cincy in Week 6, Cam Newton’s running ability, and the health of rookie wideout Kelvin Benjamin before Joe breaks down why the Panthers’ defense isn’t the same as it was in 2013.

Behind Enemy Lines is brought to you by hosts, Amanda Lawson and Chris Callaway. Read Amanda’s work over a CheeseSportsLife and Chris’s musings at Midwest Sports Fans.

Packers Therapy #239 — No Sweat in Miami

Packers Therapy Podcast

You’d hardly guess the Packers pulled out an exciting, last second victory by listening to Chris and Dave argue about Aaron Rodgers and whether he is too cautious and holds the ball too long. But the guys do eventually get around to acknowledging how awesome the win was, but lament how the injuries on defense might impact the coming games and the rest of the season. Leave it to these guys to find the stray clouds on an otherwise sunny day.

From The Benches: Complete Dominiation

From the Benches Packers Podcast

The boys are back with a new show after the Packers destroyed the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. The discussion leads off with a general breakdown of the game before going into the biggest positive and negative from a Packers perspective.

This week going behind the bench the boys discuss what has surprised them the most in the first five games this season, before they go into the fantasy corner for Packers/Dolphins.

Following that a discussion breaks out of who their least favorite team in the NFC North is, and surprisingly the answers are the same from every member of the show.

After hating on a particular NFC North team, the guys breakdown their matchup to watch and give a prediction for the Packers game against the Dolphins, before Jacob has some words about the safety position in the shows signature segment “You’re Gonna Want to Cut That”.

Packers Therapy #238: Boat Raced and Beaten Down at Lambeau

Packers Therapy Podcast

Dave calls it a beatdown. Chris terms it a Boatrace. Regardless, the boys agree that the Vikings ship was sunk against the Packers at Lambeau. Our therapists are pleased with the result, but air some lingering concerns, particularly about the need for the Packers to find the right mix for their Rodgers and Lacy cocktail. Finally, Chris talked about the iPhone 6 Plus he scored…and hilarity ensued.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders  who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.

The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.
