Jermichael Finley has been called a lightning rod for attention for some of the things he has said during his time in Green Bay.

Now his agent is adding to that, once again making Finley a focus of attention.

Speaking with the New York Post, Finley’s agent Blake Baratz made it clear that returning to Green Bay is not only a focus for Finley as he enters free agency, but also a focus for the remainder of his career:

“Right now he is a Packer and I know he would love to play his entire career there.”

Baratz went on to add that even if returning to Green Bay is not an option, there will be plenty of teams who Finley will be able to continue his career with:

“For the next five weeks or so they have his exclusive negotiation rights. If it doesn’t work out in Green Bay for whatever reason then I believe there are a number of teams that could use a talent like Jermichael.”

Since the season ended, Finley’s name has been attached to rumors regarding the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks as potential landing spots for the free agent Tight End.

Keep in mind that Finley had spinal fusion surgery in November and has yet to be cleared to return. While Finley seems confident that he will be cleared to return, this uncertainty may scare some teams away from wanting to take a chance on Finley.
