I rarely have time to play games online. In fact, I never do. Between too many work responsibilities, plus running five websites and their social media accounts in my “spare time…” Yeah, it just doesn’t happen.

If I WAS able to spend a lot of time playing online games, it’s likely they would be some type of football related simulation (or possibly I would go the casino game route and play top quality online games at 7sultans.com). And I don’t mean Madden, who the heck has time for that? (I know, millions of people – but not this one) So I decided to take a look around the Internet and see what looks interesting and not overly complicated.

Bill Belichick Offseason Simulator

This is a weird one. Apparently, you navigate through the game doing things as Bill would. If you make the right “Bill” decisions, you advance.  if you don’t try to “Be like Bill,” well… let’s say it doesn’t end well for you. A pretty funny and entertaining idea, for sure. The game is rather simplistic in look and feel, which I think lends to the appeal of it.

Sim Matchup Football

Ever wonder who would win a game between the 2012 Chicago Bears and the 2011 Green Bay Packers? Using various information about both teams, this game portends to predict what would happen. For fun, I used the teams mentioned above, chose “balanced” offense for both teams and perfect weather. Somehow, the simulation came up with a 12-10 Packers victory. Not a single TD for the 2011 Packers and their high-flying offense that is often mentioned as one of the best of all time.  As Jim Carrey would say:  Allllllllllllllll righty then…

Pro Football Coach

In Pro Football Coach, you take the role of a newly hired coach/GM at the team of your choice. Your goal is to win the Championship, and you will stop at nothing to do so. Sign players, trade assets, and change strategies to lead your team to victory.

Sim League Football

Build a team of stars from throughout NFL history. Want to spend your money on the running game? How about a backfield of Payton and Sanders? Like to air it out? How about Brady with Moss and Rice at wide receiver? You can do it all! Set depth charts, game plans, offensive and defensive settings, deal with player fatigue and more. A 16-game season follows a 4-game preseason. Many decisions lie ahead, and you get to make them all!

Grid Iron

Grid-Iron is an American Football simulation game where you take charge of a small team with only a bunch of local players, start-up finances, and basic facilities. Your goal is to bring glory and fame to that team and ultimately win the American Football League of Champions (AFLC).

If none of these games tickle your fancy and you’d rather just play casino games, check out the aforementioned 7Sultans Online Casino.
