With free agency and the NFL draft now in the books, let’s take a look at how the 2019 Packers roster will possibly look like.

Quarterbacks

  • Aaron Rodgers
  • Deshone Kizer

The first one is a no brainer, and I believe Kizer will take to head coach LaFleur nicely and we will see a nice jump in his game.

Running Backs

  • Aaron Jones
  • Dexter Williams
  • Jamaal Williams

Aaron Jones will flourish in this new scheme, and Dexter is a great backup and has more ability in his game than Jamaal. Solid looking RB room.

Fullback

  • Danny Vitale

Had a solid season with the Packers for the little he was used. Nasty blocking FB with great technique and a motor that doesn’t stop.

Wide Receivers

  • Davante Adams
  • Geronimo Allison
  • Marquez Valdes-Scantling
  • Equanimeous St. Brown
  • Jake Kumerow
  • J’mon Moore

Nothing new here, the Packers didn’t add anything in the off-season and feel comfortable with what these men bring to the field. Look for J’mon to take a jump in year 2.

Tight Ends

  • Jimmy Graham
  • Mercedes Lewis
  • Robert Tonyan
  • Jace Sternberger

Graham should be a lot better under LaFluer and Mercedes is a great blocking tight end with some great hands as well. Look for all the tight ends to see time on the field this year. This offense is predicated on the tight end.

Offensive Lineman

  • Corey Linsley (C)
  • Lane Taylor (G)
  • Elgton Jenkins (G/C)
  • Justin McCray (G)
  • Cole Madison (G)
  • David Bakhtiari (LT)
  • Bryan Bulaga (RT)
  • Billy Turner (G/T)
  • Jason Spriggs (T)

This is a deep offensive line room, with additions of Billy Turner, Elgton Jenkins, and the return of Cole Madison. What was once a weakness is now a strength.

Defensive Line

  • Kenny Clark
  • Mike Daniels
  • Dean Lowry
  • Montravius Adams
  • Kingsley Keke
  • Tyler Lancaster
  • Fadol Brown

Another strength on this roster is the defensive line, and you can never have enough. The Packers found out the hard way last year as injuries plagued this group. Look for Wilkerson to get a 1 year deal if he’s healthy.

Outside Linebackers

  • Za’darius Smith
  • Preston Smith
  • Rashan Gary
  • Kyler Fackrell
  • Reggie Gilbert

With 3 additions in free agency and the draft the Packers have a great group of pass rushers. If Reggie Gilbert can take a leap, than this will be one of the best groups in the NFL and getting to the quarterback.

Inside Linebackers

  • Blake Martinez
  • Oren Burks
  • Ty Summers

Pretty easy one here, as Blake is a monster in the middle and Oren has all the tools but just needs to put them all to use. Summers is an athletic freak and will most likely be used on special teams but could possibly be used sparingly if Oren doesn’t get it together.

Cornerbacks

  • Jaire Alexander
  • Kevin King
  • Josh Jackson
  • Tramon Williams
  • Tony Brown
  • Ka’dar Hollman

Great looking corner room, let’s hope King can stay healthy. Brown has excellent upside and showed that last year. Hollman is a project but he is a gifted athlete, will be a special teams ace.

Safety

  • Adrian Amos
  • Darnell Savage Jr
  • Josh Jones
  • Raven Greene

Once a weakness now a great strength. Amos paired up with Savage will be a nightmare for opposing offenses. Josh Jones is more of a line of scrimmage type of safety, Pettine will love using him in that fashion.

Special Teams

  • Mason Crosby (K)
  • JK Scott (P)
  • Hunter Bradley (LS)

The Packers brought in Sam Ficken as competition for Crosby but his experience is just to hard to move on from

The roster defiantly looks a lot better than last year and with a new offensive scheme under LaFleur and Pettine being retained as the defensive coordinator, the Pack will look to retake the North.
