The sports world continues to remember one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history and the incredible human being that Bart Starr was.
Starr’s son, Bart Starr Jr. told WBAY-TV that he and his mother Cherry Starr are extremely humbled by the outpouring support that they have received since Starr passed away this weekend.
The family will be holding a private family service within the next week. In the near future, the family will be holding a public service in Green Bay for fans and the Packers organization.

Each of us has our own stories of Starr and memories from our grandfathers and fathers who watched him play. Our stories will live on forever as tell our children and grandchildren about how great of quarterback Bart Starr was, but also what type of man he was.
The Packers have yet to release any information on how they plan to honor Starr, but stay tuned.
