At this point in the year, we’re either in the hunt or not……
Bill Barnwell of ESPN is giving the Green Bay Packers a 95.5% chance to make the playoffs in an article published on November 18th. (b )
Eight other teams in the NFC, including Bears and Lions, have a combined playoff chance of just 2.5%.
Green Bay Packer playoff fever this year; someone pinch me.
And I am saying ‘we’ because this weekend is opening gun deer hunting in Wisconsin, a tradition enjoyed by many in the State including my family; buck fever is a real thing.
I’m thrilled the Green Bay Packers versus San Francisco got flexed to Sunday Night Football and have even taken a vacation day Monday to enjoy a long weekend among many other sportsmen who consider this weekend a holiday one.
Perhaps you’re not a hunter in the literal sense but enjoy the hunt for Green Bay Packer player autographs?
In support of the Salvation Army, Green Bay Packers players will again be signing autographs for fans in exchange for a minimum $20 donation during the next five weeks.
All proceeds raised go toward aiding needy families, seniors, and the homeless in Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers has also pledged to match each donation, doubling the amount the Salvation Army receives during events, up to $50,000 (a).
The autograph signings kicked off this past Monday with Rashan Gary and Darnell Savage signing in the Lambeau Field Artium.
Per Packers.com, the names of the players participating in each signing will be announced the week before each event.
The remaining schedule is as follows:
Nov. 25, at 6 p.m.
Dec. 2, at 6 p.m.
Dec. 9, at 6 p.m.
Dec. 16, at 6 p.m.
For those looking for a Dean Lowry or Elgton Jenkins autograph, you missed your shot. Signings were held independently in Hales Corners and Appleton, Wisconsin last night.
I’m keeping my sights on the Waukesha Sportscard event featuring Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, and Danny Vitale which, was scheduled for November 12th but postponed when Aaron and Jamaal’s agent realized t was the bye week and both would be out of town; that is what I read on Facebook anyway.
If you’re heading to Green Bay for week 14 versus the Redskins, Aaron Jones and a “player TBD” will be at an event held at Tundra Lodge Resort and Waterpark Saturday before the game. Here is the link: https://www.cravetheauto.com/autograph-appearances/12/07/tundra
Maybe the “player TBD” will prove to be Jamaal!!!
A 13x World Champion vibe always, Coach Matt LaFleur turned 40 last Saturday. Happy Birthday Coach!!
Remember when I shared with you a few weeks back that I sent out letters to each of the active 53 + Coach LaFleur asking if they would consider returning a 40th birthday wish for my husband who also turns 40 this November and the only one we got back to date was from Coach LaFleur?
My husband opened the envelope on Monday, how awesome is this:
YEET!!!
Coach LaFleur, appreciate you!!!
