Were you up early this morning, one of as many as 600 shovelers who braved the elements to help get Lambeau Field ready for Sunday?

Me neither; I wish!

I hear the snow removal task will continue throughout today as needed with the Packers providing the shovels. (a)

I couldn’t help shovel snow today at Lambeau Field, but my shovel is ready for Sunday’s home game versus the Redskins.

This Sunday’s tailgate menu, “something in a crockpot,” hasn’t been decided to date.

Beef stew or chili most likely, and hot beverage options are also being researched.

The tailgate Christmas tree, patio heater, cold weather gear, and shovel, obviously, have been brought up from the basement.

The truck will be extra packed because we’re also bringing toys.

Hatched during a Green Bay Packers tailgate at Lambeau Field on September 10th, with friends, the theme for this Sunday’s pregame festivities is ‘Tailgate for Tots.’

I am excited to share that our tailgate will be a toy drop location of the Marine Toys for Tots Program, of which the basic mission is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children.

We have a decent-sized group of Packer’s fans attending in person, and each invited is being asked to bring a toy to donate.

Friends have invited friends.

Even co-workers, not attending, have made donations.

Additional evidence that the fanbase of which we are part of is the best in professional sports.

A 13x World Champion vibe always, 500 plus volunteers at Lambeau Field prepared and served a sit-down Thanksgiving dinner for 900 local residents who may not have had a place to celebrate the holiday. I understand that this was the eighth consecutive year for this event, and according to https://christianoutreachgb.com/ , 2,200 meals were served.
