It will be different all around Green Bay when Packers training camp starts. That is an understatement. As the team and players prepare to begin training camp, there will be no fans allowed. It is the first team I can remember not being along the fence to watch practice or seeing kids in line with their bikes.
To help connect the fans to the team this year, the team is inviting fans to share their excitement for the upcoming season with the players through the “Letters to Lambeau” program.
Starting this week, fans can participate in the Letters to Lambeau program. Fans of all ages can submit notes, encouraging letters and drawings to show their support for the players during training camp.
To submit messages, fans can visit pckrs.com/letters and download the letter or drawing template to create custom messages to individual players and the team.
The letters, notes or drawings can be uploaded at pckrs.com/letters, emailed to letterstolambeau@packers.com, or mailed directly to the Packers at Letters to Lambeau, PO Box 13092, Green Bay, WI 54307.
As a bonus, the organization will feature select submissions on the team website, packers.com and their social channels. Some lucky fans your submit a letter will receive a prize from the team. That prize will be anything from a digital message from a player, a custom jersey, an autographed item or gift card to the Packers Pro Shop.
The Letters to Lambeau program will run through the end of training camp. So, get writing and drawing Packers Nation. Even though we can’t be there, lets show the team and players that we are with them.
