For three quarters, Jordan Love and the Packers offense were struggling.
There was no rhythm, the offense could not get on track and the scoreboard showed that.
But there is a reason why you play all four quarters of a football game.
Last week the Packers offense did the complete opposite of what they did against the Saints.
The Packers offense played 3 good quarters of football before stalling in the 4th quarter.
Against the Saints though three quarters, the Packers offense couldn’t run the ball.
Receivers were dropping passes left and right.
The end result?
The Packers were down 17-0 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Love also threw his first interception on the first drive of the third quarter.
Jordan Love leads Comeback
With 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter the Packers started to make their comeback.
Kicker Anders Carlson kicked the comeback off with a 38-yard field goal to cut the lead to 14.
On the next possession after 2 pass interference calls on the Saints, Love led the offense on their first touchdown drive of the day.
That ended with a 1-yard touchdown run from Love.
Matt LaFleur and the Packers decided to go for two after the touchdown.
It paid off with a Love pass to Samori Toure making the score 17-11 and a one possession game for the Packers.
The final drive for the Packers was highlighted by A 24-yard scramble by Jordan Love and a 30-yard completion to Jayden Reed.
That set up the game winning touchdown, an 8-yard touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs to give the Packers a 18-17 lead.
Saints kicker Blake Grupe missed a 46-yard field goal and the rest is history with the Packers coming away with a 18-17 victory.
For the day Jordan Love completed 22 passes for 259 yards with one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown.
Even though Love and the offense struggle for three quarters, Love still stayed calm through the adversity.
Learning from his and the offenses mistakes, Love and company woke up in the fourth quarter finding tempo in their offense.
When the Packers were down 17-0, they could’ve just packed it in and just called it a game.
It certainly looked like that by the end of the third quarter.
Love though showed grit and leadership, something the Packers needed at that point in the game.
With the win Love and the Packers are 2-1 heading into a huge match up against the Lions on a short week Thursday.
