With the Senior Bowl finally over, several players have helped their draft stock immensely. Knowing how much the Packers value the event, they should be really happy about the quality of talent they saw in Mobile, Alabama.

Fortunately, there were several standouts at positions of need for Green Bay such as DL, WR, IOL and CB. Some of them, though, were especially impressive and align perfectly with the front office’s preferences. These prospects might end up ‘carrying the G’ after the 2025 NFL Draft, so let’s get to know them.

Jack Bech, WR, TCU

The former LSU Tiger capped a dominant weekend in Mobile by being chosen as the Senior Bowl’s MVP. He showcased insane concentration at the catch point and nuanced route running for his size, even earning comparisons to Puka Nacua. Bech has college production, the frame that the Packers covet at the position and had an all-time great Senior Bowl. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a Green Bay Packer (barring testing) if I’ve ever seen one.

Gray Zabel, OL, NDSU

Zabel was named the practice player of the week by NFL executives, and it’s not hard to see why: his high level of play at both guard spots and center was a sight to behold. How he mirrored opposing defensive linemen with his quick feet and precise hands was particularly impressive. The NDSU product also happens to have 52 career starts and fits perfectly into the Packers’ wide-zone heavy offense. He may have been too good to be a Packer, but he’s everything they look for in an offensive lineman.

Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State

Packers falling in love with a Utah State offensive player? Never heard that one before. Royals is such a fun prospect: his blazing speed allows him to challenge defenses both vertically and after the catch. At the Senior Bowl, he exhibited a polished release package that surely called several scouts’ attention. Personally, I like what he could offer to Matt LaFleur’s offense, so I expect them to rate him at high regard. Will Jordan Love throw to another Aggie in Green Bay?

Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville

The Cardinals’ product was relentless in coverage all week. His physicality, oily hips and ball-tracking skills were a nightmare for receivers. He may be an older prospect (turns 24 next May), but he has the size that the Packers typically want at the position. In a year that GM Brian Gutekunst could double dip in the draft at the CB position, he fairs as an intriguing option for Green Bay as an early day 3 pick.

Shemar Stewart, DE, Texas A&M

If someone asks you how a 5-star recruit at defensive end should look, Shemar Stewart is the answer. He’s huge, super fast and has an elite way of transforming speed to power as a pass rusher. Everyone at Mobile left excited about his potential as a game-changer if he learns how to finish plays consistently. If you’re afraid that they might pick another toolsy DE that’s three years away of being a contributor, beware: they might do it again.
