The 2025 opponents for the Green Bay Packers are set. The dates that the Packers will face these teams are yet to be determined. The official schedule will be released between May 13 – 15. There are several intriguing matchups for the Packers this upcoming season. The six NFC North games are always meaningful and filled with emotion. In addition, Green Bay will face all four AFC North and NFC East teams in 2025. Both divisions are filled with competitive teams. Let’s dive into the three most intriguing matchups for the Packers in 2025.
3) Packers Vs Ravens

The Packers will welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Green Bay. The Ravens will bring two time MVP, Lamar Jackson, and 2020 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, Derrick Henry, to town. Baltimore led the NFL in rushing in 2024. Their offense is a ground and pound style of football. Henry is dominate running back who is incredibly difficult to bring down. Lamar Jackson’s quickness and elusiveness makes him one of the hardest players in the NFL to stop as well. This will be a very challenging opponent and a great test for the Green Bay defense.
Green Bay will play five AFC teams in 2025. The Ravens are a team, considered by many, to win the AFC. Baltimore is certainly a favorite to do so which is why it will be interesting to see how the Packers will fare. The NFC will once again be very deep so seeing how the Packers handle a strong AFC team will be a good indicator of who this team will be.
2) Packers @ Lions

The Detroit Lions are the back to back NFC North Champions. If the Packers want to reclaim the NFC North throne, they will have to beat the Lions. The reason why this game is so intriguing is the Packers went toe to toe with the Lions in Detroit last season. Green Bay’s slow offensive start and two fumbles by Josh Jacobs and Christian Watson did not help their cause. The team should have a sour taste in their mouth knowing that a slew of early mistakes really plagued them in that game.
The on field altercation between Matt LaFleur and a Lions fan will certainly create quite the ruckus atmosphere. The Lion faithful will certainly want to play a factor in that game. Most importantly, the Packers first step in achieving the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl is winning the NFC North. Anytime Green Bay can beat a divisional opponent on the road, their chances of winning the division increases.
1) Packers Vs. Eagles

Green Bay will host the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. There are multiple reasons for this game being the top choice. The Packers lost both games to the Eagles in 2024. In the first matchup, the Packers left a lot of points off the scorecard with a few untimely penalties and the inability to capitalize on two Eagles turnovers. As everyone knows, Jordan Love went down with a knee injury on the second to last pay of the game which lingered throughout the rest of the season and heavily affected his play.
Finally, the Eagles knocked the Packers out of the playoffs and ended their 2024 season. Green Bay will certainly look for some redemption after a poor playoff performance. Jordan Love will be looking for revenge after a rough playoff game in Philadelphia and will look to right the ship after his injury. Similar to the Lions and the Ravens, if the Packers want to be serious contenders, they will need to beat the top teams and none other than the reigning champions. Green Bay will definitely to take advantage of the game being played in their house and win on their home turf.
Honorable Mention – Packers Vs. Steelers

This matchup between the Green Bay Packers vs the Pittsburgh Steelers is a fun one to look forward to for a few reasons. There are several reports that this is the game that the NFL will play in Ireland but nothing has been confirmed. For the second straight season, the Packers will make an international trip.
The most interesting piece to this game is the Aaron Rodgers rumors. Although, Rodgers currently remains a free agent, there are several reports that the Steelers could be his potential landing spot. If Rodgers were to sign with the Steelers, this game would be his first against the Packers. In this scenario, the storylines will write themselves.
