The 2026 schedule is here. The anticipation is building around the Packers season. With training camp around the corner this summer, plenty of questions on the roster will be answered.

The Packers will yet again start the season on the road back-to-back. The first home game will not be on a Sunday, but rather a Thursday night versus the Falcons.

There are no international games, which should benefit the Packers. The impacts of international travel for teams have been wildly discussed. However, these games have never been in the Packers favor.

The bye week falls on week eleven, with additional days of rest as they face the Rams on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

There is a lot to look forward to this upcoming year. As of now, there are three games I am circling on this year’s schedule.

The Bears- Week 5 and Week 16

The bad blood between these NFC North rivals only intensified this past season. In the last six games, three of those games were played against the Bears. In week fourteen, the Packers won, with the Bears taking week sixteen.

Then came the NFC Wild Card matchup, where the Packers blew a 21-3 lead. All the momentum was with them until they suffered a collapse. This left fans furious and wanting significant changes.

Brian Gutekunst has made many roster moves this offseason. The team that lost to the Bears in the playoffs will be a much different team in week five.

In week five, the Packers host, and in week sixteen, the Bears host. Having an eleven-week gap will make the matchups more intriguing from last season. By week sixteen, the rosters will not be close to the same as week five.

Overall, plenty of fuel has been added to the fire. Nevertheless, the team being able to turn over a new page against the Bears is to be determined.

Packers vs Bills- Week 14

There are not many atmospheres in football better than Lambeau Field. Now, picture Lambeau Field on Sunday Night Football, snow falling, and two iconic franchises on the screen. It doesn’t get any better than this.

The Bills have been a very similar story to the Packers in recent years. Always top contenders in their respective conferences, but never able to get over the hump. For Allen and the Bills, the obstacle has been Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

However, the Bills had a prime opportunity to take control of the AFC in the playoffs. With no Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, or Joe Burrow, the time for the Bills was now. In another catastrophic playoff loss, the Bills fell to the Broncos.

The Packers have had ample opportunities in the NFC in past seasons. The 2020 season was the most notable to have a shot at the Super Bowl.

Both of these teams have so much to prove, a matchup close to the postseason will be sweet. It is time for the Bills and Packers to rewrite their own narratives.

Packers at Rams- Week 12

The Packers play the Rams right off their bye week in Los Angeles, a matchup in which Matt LaFleur has thrived against Sean McVay.

The Rams are also another top NFC contender. They are coming off a 31-27 loss to the Seahawks in the NFC Championship.

Most notably, former Packer Davante Adams is currently on the Rams. Adams faced a similar trajectory to the Packers in this Championship Game. Adams has appeared in five NFC title games, four with the Packers, and one with the Rams, losing every one.

Both teams understand being so close only to have the Super Bowl dreams snatched away from you. A game in primetime against two top NFC teams, with solid rosters and outstanding coaches is what we all need.

Overall, the Packers schedule is nicely balanced. This lines up well with the number of key injuries players are coming off of. There are plenty of stellar matchups to watch out for, and many memories to look forward to.

Honorable Mention games: Patriots, Lions, Texans, Buccaneers
