Lemps Talkin’ Pack dives deep into the latest Green Bay Packers storylines following the 17-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — but there’s plenty to talk about beyond the final score. The biggest concern is the devastating season-ending Achilles injury to Edrin Cooper. How does Green Bay replace one of its most important young defensive players, especially with Micah Parsons still sidelined?
Chris Lempesis also breaks down what the Packers showed against Tampa Bay, where the defense still needs improvement, and why the team simply cannot afford to lose many more key players.
Then the focus turns to the Chicago Bears and a massive NFC North showdown at Lambeau Field. Chicago’s rushing attack has been one of the NFL’s best, and Ben Johnson has his offense playing a physical brand of football that could present a major problem for Green Bay. Can the Packers slow down the Bears’ ground game? Can Jordan Love and the offense take advantage of Chicago’s defense? And could a win help ease some of the pressure on Matt LaFleur?
