Pulse of the Pack: Aaron! Get the Table…2016 NFC North Champions Edition

Pulse of the Pack Podcast on Packers Talk Radio Network

The table has been run and the Packers are NFC North champions once again. The Packers beat the Detroit Lions to secure the 4th seed in the upcoming playoffs and get ready to host the New York Giants in the wild card round. The Packers offense rolled but the defense once again took a hit with the loss of another cornerback in Quinten Rollins. Is this “one too many” for the Packers and can they still stop teams in the postseason? Or do the Packers simply roll by outscoring opponents on their way through January? Aaron Rodgers had another MVP worthy performance in a big game and brought his team back. Does it look to continue?

Julianna Czech joins the guys to talk about her new blog and what life has been like for her over the past month. She shares her thoughts on Adam, Packers nation, and the Packers as they move through the playoffs.

Jacob and Jason also talk about the Giants once again coming to Lambeau Field in the postseason. The last two times have been sheer diaster. Can the Packers exorcise this demon that is Eli Manning and the Giants for once and for all? Does the past really matter now? What are the key match ups and how do the Packers slow down New York’s passing attack? Does the familiarity between Ben McAdoo and the Packers matter? It’s a victory Monday and no better time for the latest installment of Pulse of the Pack!

DUMB Capers soft zone defense kept Lions in game, otherwise game should’ve been in the can by start of fourth qtr. CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN, WHY the hell did McCarthy NOT have Aaron Rodgers take a knee on fourth down at GB 20 as the forty second clock would’ve given Lions the ball with ONE play left? GIVE the damn ball to Lions, they had ONE shot at TD, game was over. NO, McCarthy PUNTS the damn ball to Lions, Stafford throws TD, Lions go for onside kick and ANOTHER opportunity to score. IT MAKES NO SENSE, McCARTHY! DOWN the ball on fourth at the 20, give it to Lions with 5-6 seconds left instead of punting downfield! And McCarthy’s supposed to be an offensive genius? YEAH, that was OFFENSIVE to me.
