If the Packers offense is going to click, there is one player who needs to perform at a high level in 2013.
That player is Jordy Nelson.
Nelson burst on the national scene during Super Bowl XLV, with his 9 catch, 140 yard performance, a major reason the Packers emerged victorious.
He followed that up with a career season in 2011.
68 receptions, 1,263 yards, and 15 touchdowns later, everyone in the NFL knew who this quiet superstar from Green Bay was.
Unfortunately, Nelson was unable to repeat this level of success in 2012.
Hampered by injuries that caused him to miss 4 games, Nelson’s stats plummeted to a respectable 49 receptions, 745 yards, and 7 touchdowns. Not bad, but a far cry from his 2011 performance.
With former counterpart Greg Jennings now a member of the Vikings, Nelson enters 2013 as the de facto number one receiver in Green Bay.
With this in mind, Jordy Nelson is the focus of this week’s Midweek Movie.
Please enjoy some of the highlights of Nelson’s 2012 season.
