This past Sunday’s tailgate was ‘drinks only’ starting at 8:30 am in the parking lot.  Zing Zang bloody mary’s, mimosas, and moonshine from the Hanon’s Ranch to be exact.

The shotski was out and welcomed at least a half-dozen first-time tailgaters to Lambeau.

Fans 21 years + are always surprised to hear that they can walk around the blocks surrounding Lambeau with a drink; we’ve never had a problem.

“Just don’t be a d-bag,” I say when I offer fellow fans a beer on the road to the stadium.

After a confetti toast, dressed in cold weather gear including both hand and foot warmers, we too grabbed our “walking around beers,” packed up the tailgate, and hit the road early to the Titletown district.

Neither coolers nor glass is allowed in Titletown, and although my friend had to toss her Zima, we made it in time to see the live ice carvings, take a trip down Ariens Hill, and visit the ice lounge all before getting in line for admission through the Kwik Trip gate.

And as if to foreshadow the last game of the 2018 season, the Packers handed out green 2019 themed sunglasses as swag.

Pour one out for that that was the Green Bay Packers 2018 season…….

We all look forward.

Pronounced HAIR-ard duh-BEER, #72 is 6-foot-6 and 312-pounds according to his biography on packers.com.

A 13x World Champion vibe always, on December 31, 2018, the Green Bay Packers signed T Gerhard de Beer.

Welcome, Mr. de Beer.

I’ll bet you’ll quickly become a fan favorite.

Cheers to 2019!
