We are not even a month into the off-season yet but the Packers and the NFL are in full off-season mode. As fans, we can make our plans for our annual off-season visit to Green Bay. We can also look ahead to the NFL draft which is two months away.
The 2020 NFL draft will take place April 23 – 25, 2020 Las Vegas, Neveda.
The Green Bay Packers do not have a top 15 pick this year, but they will have a plethora of draft picks to bolster the depth of their roster and replenish their offense with weapons. General Manager Brian Gutekunst will be armed with a total of 9 picks in this years draft.
Here is the full list of the Packers 2020 NFL Draft Picks
- Rd 1, Pick 30
- Rd 2, Pick 62
- Rd 3, Pick 94
- Rd 4, Pick 126
- Rd 5, Pick 158
- (from Las Vegas Raiders) Rd 6, Pick 173
- Rd 6, Pick 190
- (from Cleveland Browns) Rd 7, Pick 202
- (from Baltimore Ravens) Rd 7, Pick 220
This provides Gutekunst with plenty of opportunities to bring head coach Matt Lafleur the talent that he needs to bring a championship back to Titletown. This also gives him picks that he needs if he would like to move up in the draft. Either way, Gutekunst has options to bring young talent to Green Bay.
Cornerback Damarious Randall was the last player the Packers drafted when they selected 30th in the NFL draft.
We now have a couple of months to analyze and project what Gutekunst and Lafleur will do with not only their first round pick but with all of their draft picks. Be sure to stay tuned to Packerstalk.com and Cheeseheadtv.com for all of your Green and Gold off-season news. Go Pack Go!
