We’re through the first 4 games of the 2025 season and for the Packers, it’s been a tale of 2 teams.

Through 2 games the Packers were dominant, allowing less than 20 points per game.

The offense was in rhythm, score 27 point each game though 2 games.

With the Packers 2-0, everyone thought the Packers were the team to beat.

Then, the Cleveland game happened.

Facing a team that was winless and struggling, most though it was going to be a cake walk for the Packers.

Instead, the offense froze, while the defense did it’s job, leading to a late game collapse and a 13-10 loss.

Last week against the Cowboys, it was the opposite, while the offense did its job the defense failed to stop the Cowboys offense.

Although the game ended up in a tie, there were questions about the Packers as a team.

Here are three takeways through one month of the 2025 season.

1. The Packers are just fine

Although the record doesn’t show it at 2-1-1, the Packers are fine after a month.

The Packers kicked off the month by beating two top teams in the NFC.

The Packers finally beat the Lions at home for the first time since 2021 27-13.

Less than a week later the Packers beat the Commanders 27-18.

The last two game though have been rough as the Packers lost the Browns.

That caused concern for the offense, which scored a season low 10 points.

But that concern was washed away with the offense putting up 40 points against the Cowboys.

The concern is now on the defense which let the Cowboys score 40 points.

That is just one game, and with time Micah Parsons and the defense will get better.

2. Jordan Love hitting his stride

So far through four games in the 2025 season, Jordan Love has been exceptional.

Besides the Browns game, Love has taken care of the football, but still has some work to do.

Last year a injured Jordan Love struggled through the first couple of starts of the regular season.

Love threw an interception each of the first 8 starts of the 2024 season.

So far in 2025, Love has only thrown 1 interception and lost 1 fumble.

Love has also been efficient with 8 touchdowns for 1,000 yards and a QBR of 63.3.

It seems like Love is more comfortable and in command of this Packers offense than ever before.

We’ve seen how year 3 can shape the Packers QB, and Jordan Love is no different.

You see it on the field and in the huddle, just ask one of his offensive teammates.

If Love cam keep this going and have this type of confidence, the Packers offense will put up numbers.

3. Micah Parsons and the defense is improving

Since Micah Parsons arrival the Packers defense has been nothing short of impressive.

Barring the Cowboys game, the Packers defense only allowed less than 20 points a game.

Parsons presence or the “Micah Parsons effect” has really helped the Packers front four.

The biggest beneficiary?

Rashan Gary and Lukas Van Ness.

Through four games in the 2025 season Gary has 4.5 sacks tied for 3rd in the league.

Meanwhile Van Ness has half a sack but he has been getting pressure on the QB.

The same can be said for Parsons, who has 2.5 sacks.

But Parsons has been getting pressure on the QB to a point where QBs are getting rid of the ball faster.

The main concern right now is the secondary, which looked great until the Cowboys game.

While the pressure has been getting to the QB, offenses have been figuring out how to get the ball out faster.

That will be an adjustment the Packers defense will need to figure out.

But with time and Micah Parsons being on the field, the Packers defense will continue to improve.
