The first preseason game is in the books and Gil and J.J. have the latest changes the Packers have made as a result. Out with the old faces, in with the new, and five more players will be gone soon too! And while the guys are looking forward to seeing more young players face off with the Jets joint practice this week, they’re disappointed that Jordan Love will likely miss the game with a shoulder injury.
Before the game though, the New York Jets are in town for joint practices, which seem to be going much better than the last time the Packers hosted joint practice with the Houston Texans. The guys talk about which players are improving their stock and which ones are on the roster bubble. And through it all, everyone still wonders what’s even the point of preseason games.
