Two weeks, two games, and joint practices with two different teams can lead to a wide range of outcomes. While the Packers didn’t win every joint practice, or both preseason games, maybe they didn’t need to win in order to come out of training camp prepared to beat the Bears in Week 1. After all, competition breeds success.

We’re all too familiar with how the Packers have started the regular season since 2020. To say they’ve come out flat is an understatement. Sure, they’ve rebounded each time, even last season (before eventually imploding), but losing to the Bears Week-1 this season cannot be an option.

So far Matt LaFleur seems to have navigated the offseason and training camp very well, and we think these joint practices might be part of the plan to end the streak of losing in Week-1.
