Green Bay Packers: Uncomfortable

From the moment I woke up this past Sunday there was something uncomfortable about the day.

I couldn’t decide what type of chili to make and ultimately made two crockpots full. It’s just my husband and me…….

At the liquor store, when my go-to beer didn’t seem appealing, I wandered the aisles searching for an alternative resulting in a quick trip taking way too long.

At home, in my most familiar place, I found myself too hot or too cold all morning; restless in fact.

No matter what I couldn’t get comfortable.  Weird.

Couch, chair, blanket versus sweatshirt, black shoe or green shoe?

Let’s just say there was definitely a glitch in the matrix Sunday as our all-time leading scorer missed indoor, five times at Ford Field.

And each parallel universe, or post, or tweet, or blog like this, is unquestionably the perfect place for shoulda, coulda, woulda. What if?

Twenty-five percent into the season are you choosing the red or blue bill? I’m taking neither at this point but promise to keep you posted….

Week six we are heading to Lambeau for Monday Night Football as the Packers take on the 49ers. We took both Monday and Tuesday off so we can soak in all of MNF.

I haven’t decided on a menu yet, but whatever it is, I won’t overthink it.

My husband and I will also celebrate our 13 year wedding anniversary on Monday.

Can you say 13x champ?!?

We have a brick at Lambeau, commemorating our tenth anniversary, so the next obvious gift is a replica Lombardi trophy. Look it up on Amazon, it’s pretty sweet, and it comes at different sizes.

A 13x World Champion vibe always; I leave you with a quote from the Matrix “If you are not one of us, you are one of them.” Ride or die.

I added the last part.

  1. Enjoy the dinner, that’s all you have except shallow words. With MM, the Packers are done.

  2. I still disagree on the defense getting better. I thought they played well against the vikes, and the bears in the second half. But against Skins and Lions we stunk. No pass pressure against quality QB, except Bill’s rookie QB. Defense can redeem themselves against 49ers st home, and really the big test after the bye week and the next five games, of which they face quality QB’s and teams. This stretch will show us what they are.

    1. Dennis….before you go too far down this road…You might want to check how we rate versus other defenses. In quite a few significant categories we are ranked in the Top 10.

I see improvement, and I think we’ll finish the season in the Top 10.
